Jaqueline Mona Clarke Barrett
May 30, 1946 - August 21, 2004
Jackie was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada the oldest daughter of
Neil and Mona Clarke. Jackie and her husband Al Barrett shared 35
years and had three sons; Kevin, Darren and Brent.
Jackie was a beautiful woman who brought joy, love and happiness
wherever she went. She was loved and admired. A treasured wife,
mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend.
She was also an avid sports fan, who vigorously supported her sons'
endeavors and traveled to many parts of the world to watch them play.
Her favorite professional team was the Toronto Maple Leafs. She
loved traveling with her family and spending time at the family cottage.
Jackie enjoyed helping people and was an active member in her
community.
Jackie always gave to other unselfishly. She fought a courageous
battle with inflammatory breast cancer. Her strength and smile are
greatly missed.
Morgan Reneé Perkins Welch
May 18, 1981 - January 29, 2006
Morgan was born in Fort Walton Beach Florida. She was the wife of
Bakersfield native, Mark Welch, who served 6 years in the United
States Air Force.
Morgan attended Fort Walton Beach High School and graduated with
honors in 1999. She attended William Carey College on a music
scholarship and graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Music Therapy.
Morgan touched souls with her gift of music and was passionate about
her work of Musical Therapy with developmentally challenged children.
To all those who have fought or are currently fighting breast cancer - we dedicate this Hockey-Thon to you.
